ORDER

This Criminal Revision Case is filed, seeking to modify the condition no.1 imposed in Crl.M.P.No.794 of 2025 dated 17.06.2025, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari

District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that while allowing the Petition for return of property, the learned Trial Court had imposed a condition of producing two sureties with the solvency bond each to that of the present value of the vehicle involved. He further submitted that the petitioner is in great hardship and the learned Trial Court has imposed a heavy cost and the same may be reduced. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.) appearing for the respondent submitted that the order passed by the learned Trial Court is reasonable and prayed for dismissal of the Criminal Revision. 4.In view of the above, this Court hereby modify the condition no.1 to effect that the petitioner shall produce solvency for two sureties for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only). The other conditions imposed by the learned Trial Court shall remain unaltered. The Tahsildar, Kanyakumari District, is directed to forthwith issue solvency bond to the petitioner for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- on producing proper documents.
