This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police for expeditious investigation and to file a charge sheet in Crime No.30 of 2022, dated 03.09.2022, against the accused for the offences under Sections 465, 468, 471, 420 and 120B of I.P.C. 1/4
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the petitioner / defacto complainant, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.30 of 2022, however, the investigation is not proceeded with.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that five witnesses were examined so far and totally, there are seven accused and it is submitted further that the investigation is in progress and within a short time, the respondent Police will file the charge sheet before the concerned Court.
4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet before the concerned Court as quickly as possible not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 11.09.2023 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no tsg 2/4
