..Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse, solatium and compensation by fixing the market value of the properties and interest as per the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation Act, 2013 for the acquisition of land to an extent of 1.47 hectare in Survey Nos.374/2 and 374/3 of Veerapandiyapuram Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin District by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.03.2024 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to disburse, solatium and compensation by fixing the market value of the properties and interest as per the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation Act, 2013 for the acquisition of land to an extent of 1.47 hectare in Survey Nos.374/2 and 374/3 of Veerapandiyapuram Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin District by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.03.2024.

2. When the matter is called, the learned Government Advocate produced an agreement executed by the petitioner herself wherein in Clause No.5, she has stated that she would receive a sum of Rs. 93,69,600/- (Rupees Ninety Three Lakhs Sixty Nine Thousand and Six Hundred only) for the extent of schedule mentioned lands which had

been acquired under the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Lands for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999) for SIPCOT Phase-II Scheme for the development of industries in Thoothukudi. In Clause No. 6 she had stated that she would not claim any amount in addition to the amount agreed upon as aforesaid as compensation and accept it without any protest.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
