Madurai and the Treasury Officer, District Treasury, Madurai to implement the orders of the Accountant General (A&E), Chennai in his letter No.E52/2/ 23-24/PT.1880, dated 12.03.2024 which is based on G.O(Ms).No.404 Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 12.11.2020, by refunding the amount of Rs.49,992/- recovered from the petitioner's pension, within a specified time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Assistant Divisional Engineer, seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents 2 and 4 to implement the orders of the first respondent.

2. A perusal of the typed set of papers reveals that the first respondent herein by his proceedings dated 12.03.2024 has instructed the fourth respondent to fix the individual pension as per G.O(Ms) No.313, dated 2/5

01.10.2017 and thereafter, forward the same. However, the said instructions have not been followed by the fourth respondent so far and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the fourth respondent herein is directed to implement the orders of the first respondent herein dated 12.03.2024 and follow the revised pension proposal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
