ORDER

The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.314 of 2024, which was registered on 21.09.2024 and he has filed this application seeking a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation within a stipulated time.

2. The learned Additional Government Advocate (criminal side) submits that the investigation is still pending and that the case has been registered for offences under Sections 336(3), 340(2), and 12(1)(b) of the BNS.

3. The petitioner/accused cannot dictate to the respondent police how the investigation should be conducted or prescribe the time required for completing the investigation. Hence, this petition is dismissed. 14.08.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes skn 2/4
