: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the 1/5

records in orders dated 23.11.2013 passed by the second respondent in A1/9891/12 and the order dated 22.08.2016 passed by the third respondent in Proceedings No.A3/9705/2013 quash the same and consequently directing the respondent to settle the pensionary benefits to the petitioner with arrears.

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has now become infructuous since subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the pensionary benefits payable to the petitioner has been paid by the respondents. Letter dated 05.02.2010 sent by the petitioner to the respondents confirming receipt of the payments is also placed on record by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

2.In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings to seek payment of interest 2/5

for the belated payments made by the respondents. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
