The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent not to lay a tar road in the petitioner's private land comprised in Survey No.271/7D, situated in Kannankottai Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the fourth respondent, on the basis of written instructions received, submitted that the road has been laid only in Survey No.271/7A and that no road has been laid in Survey No.271/7D, which is a private patta land.

3. Recording the above submission, this writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected 2/4

miscellaneous petition is closed.
