Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to place the petitioner in the post of Assistant Engineer from the date of the petitioner regularization in the Entry level post i.e., 23.02.2006 and grant periodical promotion as per The Tamil Nadu Municipal Engineering Service rules 1997 and as well as G.O.Ms.No.125 dated. 27.05.1999 by considering the petitioners representation dated. 14.10.2020 within time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. P.Prakash, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia , Special Government Pleader for the Respondents No.
1 and 2 and none having appeared for the Respondent No.3, either in person or through Counsel, this Court made the following order: "This application has been filed seeking to restore the writ petition, which was dismissed for non-prosecution on 26.07.2024.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 has not raised any serious objection for allowing this application. 2/4
