ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent 1/3

police for the offences punishable under Section 366 I.P.C and Sections 5(n)(l)(j)(2) and r/w. Section 6 (1) of POCSO Act, in Cr.No.30 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had given a false promise to the defacto complainant, who is a minor, to marry her, had sexual relationship with her and thereafter, cheated her. Hence, the complaint.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner is absent. When the matter came up in the last occasion, request was made for the petitioner for appearance today, there is no representation.

4. On a perusal of the allegation, it can be seen that the prosecutors is alleging that the petitioner gave false promise to marry the victim, had sexual intercourse and thereafter, he did not marry her.
