This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police for expeditious investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.146 of 2021, dated 03.05.2021, against the accused for the offences under Sections 174 of Cr.P.C.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the petitioner / defacto complainant, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.146 of 2021, however, the investigation is not proceeded with.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the investigation is in progress and within a short time, the respondent Police will file the final report before the concerned Court.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court as quickly as possible not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 11.09.2023 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no tsg 2/4
