Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents to secure the detenue namley Sangeetha aged about 27 years, who is the daughter of the petitioner based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 01.10.2019.

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to secure the detenue, namley, Sangeetha, aged about 27 years, who is the daughter of the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 01.10.2019.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the daughter of the petitioner has fallen love with the third respondent and they got married. Their marriage duly registered on 12.07.2018 in the Sub Registrar's Office. Thereafter, they are living some other places and the petitioner is also used to contact her daughter very frequently. Now, for the past three months, her whereabouts not known. The petitioner could not able to contact her daughter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P(MD).No.15374 of 2019 Therefore, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 01.10.2019 since her whereabouts not known.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the third respondent is living with the daughter of the petitioner and also their marriage was duly registered before the Sub Registrar, Karaikudi. In fact, the third respondent filed a direction petition seeking police protection on the hands of the petitioner and it was considered by the police and ordered police protection to the third respondent herein. Now, the third respondent and the daughter of the petitioner are somewhere else without disclosing the residence to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and complete the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
