2.Recording the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a statutory appeal under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. If such appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today (ie.,09.09.2025), then the appeal shall be entertained without reference to limitation but ensuring satisfaction of all other statutory compliances and 2/4
disposed in accordance with law and in line with the principles of natural justice. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
