By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to supply the survey report of survey conducted on 29.03.2025 using DGPS in respect of the petitioner's land admeasuring 27 1⁄2 cents in Survey No.77/2A.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader has handed over a copy of the survey report. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is merely a duplication of the earlier survey and has not been carried out as per the petitioner's request.

3. The Tamilnadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, provides for an appeal before the Assistant Director of Survey. Since the petitioner is not 3/6

satisfied with the survey carried out, the petitioner should resort to the appellate remedy.

4. Accordingly, this writ petiton is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to present an appeal before the Assistant Director of Survey. If such appeal is presented within fifteeen(15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the Assistant Director of Survey is directed to consider and dispose of such appeal within three(3) months from the date of receipt thereof by a speaking order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all concerned and in accordance with law.
