This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide new service connection to the petitioner's house door No.136A, Pandian Nagar 4th Street, Thiruthangal, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District and based on the petitioner's application reference No. 2000724107251192 dated 21.07.2025.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the second respondent will consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 21.07.2025 within a period of 2 weeks.

3. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 21.07.2025 within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
