PRAYER:- Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to expedite and take necessary action to cancel the document No.4027/2021 dated 17-03-2021 on the basis of the proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings 1/4

vide Mu.AA 4412/A2/2021 dated 23-07-2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died during the pendency of this writ petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 5 and 6 submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous, since an order was passed by the second respondent and the same was challenged by way of an appeal before the Deputy Inspector General of Registration, Madurai and this appeal was also rejected by the concerned authority through proceedings dated 06.03.2023. A copy of the relevant proceedings was also placed before this Court.
