PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant one month emergency leave without escort to the petitioner's father, namely, Jeya Kumar S/o. Late Ramachandran a life convict prisoner (life convict No.5805), now confined at Central Prison, Madurai, for the purpose of attending serious illness of his daughter for a period of one month, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.09.2024.
