Respondent Prayer :- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Trichy, to expedite and complete the Trial in C.C No.226 of 2018 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Trichy in connection with Cr.No.2 of 2017 on the file of the respondent Police within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day in the caption "For Extension of Time", and upon perusing the earlier Order of this Court dated 07.11.2019, and a Letter submitted by the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Trichirappalli in letter dated 13.10.2020 and forwarded by the Chief Judicial Magistrate(FAC), Trichirappalli in D.No. 1953, dated 13.10.2020 and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.A.Joel Paul Antony, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. Neelakandan, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondent, this Court made the following order: By order dated 07.11.2019, this Court directed the Court below to dispose of C.C.No.226 of 2018 within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

2.The Court below has submitted a letter in D.No.1953/2020 dated 13.10.2020 wherein, the learned Judge citing Covid-19 lockdown has requested for extension of three months to comply with the above order dated 07.11.2019.

3.There is no objection on the side of the petitioner in extending the time limit.
