PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned Principal and District Sessions Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tributes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989 (amended) 2005, Theni, to accept the surrender of the Petitioner and consider his bail application and grant bail on the same date of surrender itself in connection with the case in Cr.No.392 of 2022 registered on 23.09.2022 on the file of the second Respondent Police.

The Petitioner seeks a direction to the learned Principal and District Sessions Judge (SC/ST Act), Theni, to consider the bail application of the Petitioner on his surrender in connection with Cr.No.392 of 2022 on the file of the second Respondent Police. 2.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had been arrayed as accused in Cr.No.392 of 2022 on the file of the second Respondent Police.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that no previous case is pending against the Petitioner. 4.Considering the submissions of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Petitioner is directed to surrender within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or from the date of uploading this order in the website of this Court before the learned Principal and District Sessions Judge (SC/ST Act), Theni. On such surrender and on filing of bail application by the Petitioner herein, the learned Principal and District Sessions Judge (SC/ST Act), Theni, shall consider the bail 2/4
