ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking quashment of the First Information Report in Crime No.493 of 2017, for the offences under Section 294(b), 506(i) of IPC and Section 3 and 4 of Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Finance Establishment) Act, 1997, on the file of 1st respondent dated 27.12.2017.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that charge sheet has been filed and has taken cognizance in S.T.C.No.34 of 2020 before the Judicial Magistrate, Madurai and the same came to be challenged by the petitioner by filing a petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12472 of 2020 before this Court.

The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
