ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

2. The petitioner has challenged the impugned communication, whereby the application filed by the petitioner for domestic EB connection vide Application No. 200062250625917 and registration No.2250625917 has been returned/cancelled.

3. It appears that the petitioner has sought for EB connection for the residential unit put up on the water body. Hence, the aforesaid application has been rejected.

4. Under these circumstances, the Court is inclined to direct the respondent to provide temporary connection to the petitioner, which is to be disconnected 2/4

subject to any proceedings for removal of encroachment from the water body. With the above liberty, there shall be a direction to the respondent to give EB connection to the petitioner within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
