ORDER

This matter was mentioned and listed in the Additional list. The detenue has been produced. The parents of the detenue / respondents 3 & 4 and the petitioner are also present. The parents of the detenue / respondents 3 & 4 had a discussion with the detenue in the morning. Then, the detenue later said that she would like to stay with the petitioner. We requested the assistance of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. They had also a conversation with the detenue. The detenue had finally taken a decision that she would live with her parents for a period of six months. It has also been informed to the petitioner herein.

2. In view of the fact that the detenue was not in unlawful custody and hoping that issues will be resolved in the near future, this Habeas 2/4

Corpus Petition stands closed. However, the second respondent police may have a watch over the welfare of the detenue at periodical intervals. (C.V.K., J.) (R.P., J.) 21.10.2024 Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No Sm 3/4
