O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1to 3 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members from the respondents 4 to 22 and their associates on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.07.2018

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner a case has been registered in Crime No.260 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 147,148,452,294(b), 323,324 of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act.

3. At this stage police protection cannot be considered, Since the respondents 4 to 22 are facing criminal prosecution. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, if any untoward incident happens at the hands of the respondent 4 to 22, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint before the very same jurisdictional police.
