(*R4 is suo motu impleaded vide Court order dated 08.12.2021) Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to afford police protection for renovation of the temples under the name and style ''Sri Vinayagar, Sri karuppasamy'' which is situated in S.No.90 at Thummanayakkanpatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District thereby restraining the third respondent from interfering on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2021.

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection for renovation of the temples under the name and style ''Sri Vinayagar, Sri karuppasamy'' which is situated in S.No.90 at Thummanayakkanpatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District and to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P (MD).No. 21809 of 2021 restrain the third respondent from interfering with the said work on basis of the his representation dated 22.11.2021. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he given a representation as early as on 22.11.2021, no action has been taken by the respondents 1 and 2.

3.Considering the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 herein and to give opportunity of hearing and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
