Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his aged wife. Seeking police protection, the petitioner has filed this petition.

2.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.20,00,000/- from a Nationalised Bank and failed to repay the amount. Therefore, the Bank authorities have brought the petitioner's property for auction. The fourth respondent has purchased that property under auction. However, this petitioner has prevented the fourth respondent to enter into the said property. Therefore, the fourth respondent has lodged a complaint as against this petitioner and the same has been registered in Crime No.80 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 324(4), 329(4), 351(2) of BNS, 2023, on 05.08.2025.

3.Considering the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Court is not inclined to order for police protection to the petitioner. Accordingly, this 2/4

Criminal Original petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy before the appropriate Civil Court.
