O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct survey, measure and fix the boundary stones with respect to the property in S.No.76/4B at Palamarneri Salai, Tirukattupalli Village, Thanjavur District. The petitioner had given an application on 20.02.2021. 2.Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of both the respondents. The learned Special Government Pleader drew the attention of this Court to an order dated 09.12.2020 by the first respondent, wherein, he had affirmed that the name of the petitioner should be included in the patta. Accordingly, the patta had also been granted to the petitioner herein. The petitioner has also paid necessary charges for conducting survey.

3.In view of these facts, the respondents are directed to proceed further to measure and fix the boundary stones with respect https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.21832 of 2021 to the lands in S.No.76/4B at Palamarneri Salai, Tirukattupalli Village, Thanjavur District.

If required, the first respondent/Thasildar may also issue notice to the person, whose name had been directed to be removed from the patta, namely, Latha W/o. Nakkeeran and thereafter, enquire into the holdings of the petitioner and thereafter, pass necessary orders and do the needful, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
