ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.222 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent dated 30.09.2016.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri and the same is pending for committal proceedings. 3.In view of the above submission, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

4.However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, in the manner known to law. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri is directed to complete the committal proceedings on the final report filed by the first respondent herein, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
