ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner's grievance was that even though the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi had issued an order of promotion, he has not been given posting. After the writ petition was filed, the writ petitioner has been served with posting order. The learned counsel for the petitioner would point out that the District Revenue Officer's order dated 30.08.2022 envisages posting the petitioner in Thoothukudi Division/Thoothukudi Taluk. However, the petitioner has now been posted in Srivaikuntam Taluk. Therefore, the petitioner is permitted to file a representation before the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi and it is for the District Revenue Officer, Thoothukudi to take a call in the matter.
3.With this liberty to the writ petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
