PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus by directing the Respondents to remove the encroachment put on a public pathway extended towards east to west in front of the petitioner's house situated at Old Natham Survey No.1468/1, New Natham Survey No. 1754/35, S.Kurumbapatti, Sukkampatti Village, Vedansandur Taluk, Dindigul within a time stipulation as prescribed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2018. [Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the encroachment put up on a public pathway extended towards east to west in front of the petitioner's house situated at Old Natham Survey No.1468/1, New Natham Survey No.1754/35, S.Kurumbapatti, Sukkampatti Village, Vedansandur Taluk, Dindigul District, by

considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2018, within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that the prayer of the petitioner has been met with by the authorities concerned.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has not received any instructions in this regard.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned if the encroachments are still existing. No costs. [R.M.D., J.] [J.S.N.P., J.] vsm 10.10.2022
