The petitioner seeks issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus for production of the person of her minor daughter Abirami, who is aged about 16 years.

H.C.P.(MD) No.1848 of 2021 3.Upon instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the alleged detenu has got acquaintance with one Selvakumar S/o.Palanichamy, through instagram and she eloped with him. From the call details, it is gathered that they were somewhere near Mangalore.

4.Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent Police to secure the minor girl and produce her before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate, for appropriate proceedings. The second respondent - Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manapparai, Trichy District, is directed to monitor the investigation in this case.
