The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/management submitted that this petition is challenging the Labour Court award. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that the respondent is now aged about 71 years. from the date of order of the Labour Court award, the instance Writ Petition has been filed.

Considering the above facts, no useful purpose will be served in keeping this Writ Petition pending any further and it can be inferred that the petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
