[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] A.Bose, son of Alagarsamy, has filed this writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to take remedial action so as to enable the agriculturalists owning lands in and around

Vannathiyenthal Kanmoi (New Kanmoi) situated in Survey No.146, to get water for irrigation purpose, without any discrimination.

2. Since the writ petition was filed in the year 2018 and from the year 2018 till date, we have received sufficient monsoon, due to which, the Water Bodies in the State are also overflowing, the writ petition is closed. However, if there is any requirement, liberty is given to the petitioner to give a representation afresh before the Authority concerned and work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
