The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the property in S.No.248/9, measuring an extent of 0.2.46 ares situated at Neiveli Vadapathi, Thiruvonam Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the Petitioner's application, dated 17.3.2025.

2.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was assigned to him under the Government Free House Site Scheme. Patta for the subject property stands in the name of Petitioner in Patta No.204. He submitted an online application on 17.03.2025 in Application No.2025/N123/21/007190 seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the online application submitted by the Petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the Petitioner, dated 17.3.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
