2. I went through the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. The petitioner's land was acquired under the Tamil Nadu Act 31 of 1978. The acquisition proceedings have since been concluded. Notification under Section 4(1) of the Act was issued as early as on 24.02.1996. The proceedings got concluded long time back. The petitioner appears to have initiated civil suit to stall the process. Be that as it may, the prayer in writ petition is for directing the respondents to return the property. 2/4
