ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R3. Issuance of notice to R4 is dispensed with.

2. The specific case of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent had committed encroachment on the river poromboke (Kayalkudi river).

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader states that the memorandum dated 23.07.2025 was already issued proposing removal of the encroachment on 30.07.2025 at 10.00 am. Since there were objections, the said exercise could not be completed on the said date. It is undertaken by the authorities that the encroachments in question will be removed within a period 2/4

of four weeks from today.

4. Recording the stand of the official respondents, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
