Respondents Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Karur, for expeditiously complete the trial and pronounce the Judgment in O.S.No.549 of 2014 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Karur, in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the revision petitioners, seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Karur, for early disposal of O.S.No.549 of 2014, within a stipulated period.

The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners submitted that the revision petitioners filed a suit in O.S.No.549 of 2014 before the learned District Munsif, Karur, for declaration. But, the said suit is pending for more than four years. The learned counsel further submitted that as per the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, the said suit should be disposed of within a period of two years from the date of filing. But, the same is pending for more than four years. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Karur, for early disposal of O.S.No.549 of 2014, within a stipulated period.

3. In view of Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil 2/3

Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007 and also considering the fact that the said suit is pending for more than four years, this Court directs the learned District Munsif, Karur, to dispose of O.S.No.549 of 2014, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the present Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
