PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to process the application of the petitioner dated 16.02.2023, and to transfer the License in Crackers License No. TN/TRI/2/2005-2006, in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner's father, namely one Ayyasamy was issued with a Crackers License No. TN/TRI/2/2005-2006 in the year 2005, as per Rule 83,85 and 86 of the Explosives Rules and the same has been periodically extended and it was recently extended upto 31.03.2023. The petitioner's father died on 09.07.2022. The petitioner's brothers and sister have given No Objection Certificate for renewal of license in the name of the petitioner. With this No Objection Certificate, the petitioner appears to have submitted a representation on 16.02.2023 to the respondents and filed this writ petition that his application has not been considered. 2.Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents seeks some time to get written instructions.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2/4

first respondent to consider the application of this petitioner dated 16.02.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
