O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate appropriate legal action as against the fifth respondent under Rule 17(c) of Tamilnadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, pursuant to her conviction vide judgement dated 18.8.2022 in STC No. 545 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a writ afresh seeking writ of Quo- warranto and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

3. In view of the above submission, coupled with the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
