When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that so far 40 witnesses have been examined before the trial Court and against this petitioner warrant has been issued on 29.09.2020. Perusal of records shows that interim stay on 17.03.2020 has been granted and thereafter it was extended by the order dated 10.07.2020. It appears that thereafter, it was not listed before this Court.

2.Let a report be called for from the trail Court as to the stage of the trial proceedings along with copies of the depositions of PW1 to PW40, since it is the contention on the part of the petitioner that not even a single witness spoken about the involvement of the petitioner in the course of Pawn Broking business that was running by the first accused.

3.List the matter for final disposal on 29.11.2021. As directed, you namely the SPECIAL JUDGE FOR TNPID COURT, MADURAI is hereby required to submit your report as stated supra along with copies of the depositions of PW1 to PW40, to this Registry on or before 28/11/2021 as the matter stands posted on 29/11/2021.
