Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from preventing petitioner from issuing car passes to the deserving persons including old, infirm and differently abled worshipers from reaching Arulmigu Sorimuthu Ayyanar Temple in Village No.99 Singampatti, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District in private cars by insisting them that they should travel in government buses alone during Aadi Amavasi festival in every year and two days prior to the main festival and two days after the main festival of Aadi Amavasai based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2018.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a direction to forbear the respondents from preventing petitioner from issuing car passes to the deserving persons including old, infirm and differently abled worshipers from reaching Arulmigu Sorimuthu Ayyanar Temple in Village No.99 Singampatti, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District in private cars by insisting them that they should travel in government buses alone during Aadi Amavasi festival in every year and two days prior to the main festival and two days after the main festival of Aadi Amavasai based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. It is represented that the Trustee is no more now. This Court is not inclined to go into those aspect as to whether his son could be appointed as a Trustee or not. The relief sought for by the petitioner is restricted to the year 2018. Therefore, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated. No Costs.
