ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.53 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that after registration of FIR, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed a final report on 21.09.2021 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivilliputhur and it is pending for taking cognizance.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19606 of 2021 3.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivilliputhur, is directed to take cognizance on the final report filed in Crime No.53 of 2019 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
