Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the balance of crop insurance amount for the farmers belonging to the Pootharayanallur Village, Vinnamangalam Village, Pramankottai
hamlet of Ammaiyagaram, Arcodu, Nathamangalam and Adanjur Villages paid premium for the year 2017-2018 for the loan borrowed from the fifth respondent as per 63% crop failure report of the Assistant Director of Agriculture, Thanjavur.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the balance of crop insurance amount for the farmers belonging to the Pootharayanallur Village, Vinnamangalam Village, Pramankottai hamlet of Ammaiyagaram, Arcodu, Nathamangalam and Adanjur Villages paid premium for the year 2017-2018 for the loan borrowed from the fifth respondent as per 63% crop failure report of the Assistant Director of Agriculture, Thanjavur. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Pleaders appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the amounts have been paid on various dates 17.6.2022
and 29.6.2022 to the Petitioner and there is no amount pending for payment and if the Petitioner has any further grievance, he can approach the respondent concerned and redress his grievance in the manner known to law.
4.In view of the above submission, the respondent concerned is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 26.08.2021 given in this regard and pass appropriate orders, if any pending for payment, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
