[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] Prayer in this writ petition is to forbear the respondents 1 to 5 from establishing solar power project in S.Tharaikudi and Naripaiur Revenue Villages of Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the project of establishing solar power plants in these villages has now been dropped and to that effect, he has also produced copy of the instructions given by the fifth respondent to the learned Government Pleader, dated 26.07.2024, before this Court.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [D.K.K., A.C.J.] [R.V., J.] 26.07.2024 NCC :
