Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A1/171/2024 dated 02.09.2024 passed by the respondent No.4 in favor of respondent No.6 to collect fees and toll from the street Vendors and Goat cutting Tank and quash the entire tenders process as illegal irregular and consequently direct the respondent No.4 monitored by the respondent No.2 and 3 to issue re-tender to collect fees and toll from the street vendors and Goat Cutting Tank at Mudukulathur Town panchayat Ramanathapuram District for the period of 2024-2025 year within the time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned 2/6

proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A1/171/2024 dated 02.09.2024 passed by the respondent No.4 in favor of respondent No.6 to collect fees and toll from the street Vendors and Goat cutting Tank and quash the entire tenders process as illegal irregular and consequently direct the respondent No.4 monitored by the respondent No.2 and 3 to issue re-tender to collect fees and toll from the street vendors and Goat Cutting Tank at Mudukulathur Town panchayat Ramanathapuram District for the period of 2024-2025, year within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. After arguing some time, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already given a representation to the respondents on 03.09.2024 and therefore, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.09.2024.

3. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 and 5.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the 3/6

merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, 03.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
