The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.53 of 2025 registered on the file of the respondent Police for the offence under 1/4

Sections 296(b) and 118(1) of BNS 2023. He has moved this petition seeking to quash the proceedings registered against him in Crime No.53 of 2025 on the ground of compromise.

2. Today, when this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the investigation in Crime No.53 of 2025 was completed and the final report has also been filed and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.323 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram.

3.
