ORDER

The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition that the 3rd respondent Police has not concluded the investigation in the case in Crime No.498 of 2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that for missing the first petitioner's son and daughter-in-law in the year 2015, the first petitioner has lodged a complaint in the year 01.12.2020, based on which, a case has been registered in Crime No.498 of 2020. The respondent Police are not having any clue on the whereabouts of the missing persons.

The petitioners have also not co-operated for the investigation and therefore, the respondent Police could not complete the investigation.

3. In view of the said submission, the petitioners are directed to co-operate with the respondent Police for investigation. The 3rd respondent Police is expected to conclude the investigation in Crime No.498 of 2020, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
