PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 8/2018 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 01.02.2020 for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) IPC and Section 5(1) r/w 6 of POCSO Act, 2012, in Crime No.8 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Because of the non-appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court, warrant was issued against him on 21.01.2020 and was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.02.2020.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that since the trial would be concluded within a short time, at this stage granting of bail may not be proper.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even P.W.1 has not been cross examined so far.

5. Since the trial process is going on, the petitioner shall revive his bail petition before the concerned Court. With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
