This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking for a direction to the respondent Police for providing police protection basing on the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.08.2023 in C.S.R.No.448 of 2023.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent No.3, who is the tenant in the premises belonging to the petitioner, has been indulging in illegal activities, thereby, when the petitioner has objected for the same, the third respondent has been threatening the petitioner with the rowdy elements. Therefore, sought for suitable directions.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on the other hand, submits that, the representation of the petitioner, which is registered as C.S.R.No.448 of 2023 was enquired into and subsequently, it was closed on recording of submissions of both sides that they will resolve the dispute before the appropriate Civil Court, thereby, C.S.R.No.448 of 2023 was closed.
4. In view of the submissions made by both sides and on perusal of records, this petition is disposed of as no direction can be passed since C.S.R.No.448 of 2023 has already been closed, however, learned Government 2/4
Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that, in case, if the petitioner files any fresh complaint in respect of the alleged illegal activities of the third respondent, they would take action by following due process of law.
