ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent to conduct preliminary enquiry and conclude the same based on the complaint dated 07.08.2019.
2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3.It is represented that the Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Chennai by his letter dated 21.08.2019 forwarded the complaint to the Director of Geology and Mining, Guindy and in turn forwarded the same to the District Collector, Sivagangai. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the third respondent along with other officials visited the quarry sites and also caused inspection with regard to the illegal quarry made in the quarry site. Pursuant to the inspection, the third respondent/The District Collector, Sivagangai has issued show cause notice under Section 36
(5) (H) of the Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals Concession Rules, 1959. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs.
