PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, to punish the Contemnors/respondents in accordance with law for their willful disobedience of the order in W.P.(MD)No.6761 of 2019 dated 26.04.2019.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revise the petitioners Dearness Allowance at the rate of 148% should be added in their monthly pension based on the G.O.Ms.No.321 Finance (Allowances) Department, dated 24.9.2018 and further directing the respondents to pay the difference amount in the petitioners pension for the period from date of their retirement to till date payable to the petitioners together with interest at the rate of 18%.

Recording the statement made by the respondents that the order of this Court dated 26.04.2019 passed in W.P.(MD)No.6761 of 2019 has been complied with by consideration of the petitioners' representation through order dated 31.07.2019 in Lr.No:WP 6761/2019/L2/TNSTC EPFT/2018, this Contempt Petition stands closed, since there is no disobedience on the part of the respondents, which may be termed as willful.

2. If at all the petitioners are aggrieved against the order dated 31.07.2019 in Lr.No:WP 6761/2019/L2/TNSTC EPFT/2018, liberty is hereby granted to the petitioners to challenge the same in accordance with law.
