ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 275 and 123 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 read with Sections 7(1) and 24(1) of the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Acts, 2003 in Crime No.296 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 24.08.2024 at about 02.30 p.m., when the respondent and his subordinates went for a search at a petty shop, namely Reena Agencies, they found that the petitioner was is possession of Vimal, Hans and Coolip products. Thereafter, they lodged the complainant as against the petitioner and hence, this case.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner was found to be in possession of Vimal, Hans and coolip products, which are said to be spoiling the tender children of this State, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. 2/3
